Hi there, I’m using the Custom Post Type CPT UI plugin and it works great; however, I can’t see an option to include/upload a Featured Image for posts generated with CPT UI. I know that other Enfold users have had the same problem and while I reviewed a few posts in the forum, I didn’t find an answer on how to resolve this.

    Can you please help?

Another issue I’m dealing with is that, that only the title of the Custom Post Type shows up in the Enfold Masonry Grid, but the Excerpt does not – although I selected it to be Always shown.

    Many thanks for your help

    Hey MadRhino!

as far as I know there were some issues with this plugin in the past. So no sure if it’s really compatible with Enfold. You would need to ask plugin’s author for help about it.

    Best regards,
    Andy

I understand Andy, but I think Enfold is compatible with CPT UI. You guys even recommend the use of this plugin in other posts on this forum.

There is another thread on this forum https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-featured-image-with-custom-post-types-cpt-follow-up/ that seems to deal with the same issue.

I also did some digging and found that the issue can most likely be resolved by adding a code snippet to the theme’s functions.php file.

I tried the proposed solution above, but it doesn’t work for me. I’m working with a child theme .

I would really appreciate it if you guys could look into this. Making this work is a fundamental aspect to my design.

    Many thanks

    Hey!

you can find our recommended plugin list here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/recommended-plugins/

Try to activate a default WordPress theme to check if features image is working there for you or not, and let us know about your results.

Make sure to read this: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_type.

    Cheers!
    Andy
