Hello,
I saw another post in the Enfold forum with the same issue I am having but it didn’t seem solved, so instead of joining that post I decided to start a new one. That post is .
I am having the same problem as Katana. I don’t have a retina display & I am using the plugin with the Enfold theme & not the standalone slider, so that is irrelevant in my case, but my problem seems to be the same. In viewing on different monitors, the problem is also still the same.
I have included a screenshot of the first slider below so you can see exactly what the issue is, in case I don’t explain it well enough. I have a LayerSlider created (not finished, I am still putting it together) & I have 3 slides. All 3 slides have a background image that is 1920×580. The problem is that the image does not display at the size it is uploaded at, it is appearing zoomed in. If you look at the screenshots, you can see where I overlaid the original image over the screenshot of the slider. The slider is zooming the image in & is displaying it at 1900×588 instead of 1920×580. So it is in essence, displaying the slider background zoomed in. What can I do to fix this problem?
Thank you so much for your help!
August 7, 2014 at 2:40 pm #301127Hi WalstonNet!
Thank you for using Enfold.
We will need to see the actual page with the slider. Please post the url here. Anyway, 20px and 8px differential is not that big in my opinion. I bet no one will notice the difference.

IsmaelAugust 7, 2014 at 6:49 pm #301265Thanks for the reply. I notice & to me it is actually a really big deal, so if it can be fixed I definitely want to get it resolved. On an image such as shown above it probably doesn’t make as big of a difference, but when I use other images where the crop is close to cutting off a roof, or someone’s head etc, it will definitely be a big deal. I could go on & on on that subject but I’ll spare you, LOL!
The page is at http://www.monicawalston.com, it’s right on the home page. Here is the sourse bg images if it helps any:
Thank you!
August 8, 2014 at 4:46 am #301426Hey!
To avoid any zooming or resizing, i’d suggest using the “background” image as a centered image layer – http://screencast.com/t/Ip1KnOEl82Hg

JosueAugust 8, 2014 at 6:01 am #301466Thanks for replying Josue. I see where you’re at in the slider Ok, I just did that, but now the background image, which I deleted as the slide image & added as a layer with the text, isn’t showing up. ???
August 8, 2014 at 7:32 am #301472The idea is to use a layer as a “background” so a slide background wouldn’t be necessary.
August 10, 2014 at 7:23 pm #302285Can you elaborate a little more? How do I use it as the background?
Thanks!!!
August 10, 2014 at 8:19 pm #302294If I add another layer on that slide, it shows it, but it only slides it part of the way in & it covers up all of the content for it.
August 10, 2014 at 10:01 pm #302308Well, I think I figured it out. I think I just needed to mess with sizes in the slider settings, I am still having some issues, but I think I can get to where I need to be.
Thanks for the help everyone.
