I bought layer slider as standalone plugin, unfortunately something in the theme preload the image and they appear in bad quality for the retina ? apparantly that s something in the theme and not the in the plugin… because their slide show appear properly in my display.
If i use the Layout Builder builder to charge layer slider, it appear with a definition little more big that the original picture, it is for that the quality is poor..
Could you fix it please to keep the same size of picture that i create in layer slider ?I hope my issue is clear.
i put already add_theme_support (‘deactivate_layerslider’); on function to disable the version of Enfold

Have you tried uploading a larger image? Maybe, double the size of the usual. Try this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-retina-2x/

i think the problem is the loading between the theme and layer slider. As i mention above the picture appear little bit more big than the size parameter in the slider. How could we force the exact size in Layout Builder ?
if i use retina plugin, layer slider make a zoom and not respect the size, it is not plugin optimized for retina.

The theme isn’t compatible in the same way with the stand alone plugin. So unfortunately if you want to use LayerSlider by itself it doesn’t integrate into the theme the way the bundled version does.

DevinOk thanks for your answer but why to tell me to buy the layer slider standalone plugin to use it how i want in the theme if it is not possible to have a good compatibility ?
In regard the retina could you confirm the theme is 100% ok with your different slider (not only the logo?)

It isn’t that the plugin is not compatible, it just is not integrated in the same way. In order for it to work with the advanced layout builder right now it can’t use the regular shortcodes and it also can not auto update.
So on any regular page you can switch to the advanced layout builder mode and add a layer slider without using the plugin by itself. If you want to add in layerslider slideshows on posts, widgets or without using the advanced layout builder then yes you would need to use the plugin separately and de-activate the theme integrated version.
