Hello,
I am a 6 year user of Enfold and currently I am unable to open and edit the home page. In order to submit a request for this issue I was ordered to this page saying I need a new license key for this type of support. I could not find any solutions in the Forums, but i did find others describing the same issue.
Can you tell me how to proceed for assistance with this issue?
Many thanks in advance,
June 10, 2024 at 9:54 pm #1448818Hey Paul,
Thank you for your support, typically this may occur if you are using an old version, we are at v5.7.1 or if you have a custom class header.php or footer.php in your child theme, please check these.
If you are unable to login to the support forum because you don’t have a activate support contract, please try going to your Theme Forest account and renew your support and then log in to the support forum and open a new thread.Best regards,
MikeJune 11, 2024 at 5:49 pm #1448911Hello,
I just purchased support for the issue detailed above. I am using version 5.7.1, WP 6.5.4 and PHP 8.2.14. There is no custom class header.php or footer.php in a child theme.
Many thanks, Paul
June 11, 2024 at 6:20 pm #1448915Hi,
Try to disable all of your plugins and see if you can then edit your homepage, If this doesn’t help please include admin login in the Private Content area so we can investigate.Best regards,
MikeJune 11, 2024 at 7:37 pm #1448922Hi Mike,
I disabled all the plugins and the same issue is occurring, no change.
I have created an Admin account for you with details in the Private Content area below.
Thank you for your help,

June 12, 2024 at 6:05 am #1448951Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We tried to login to the site, but the password for the username is incorrect. We also tried the previous password but it’s the same. Please check the info carefully or create another admin account.
Best regards,

June 12, 2024 at 12:29 pm #1449027Hi,
Thanks for that. I tried to edit your front page, but the server responded with a 503 error:
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.Web Server at systemcheck.wn
Please try reaching out to your hosting provider to see why that is.

RikardJune 12, 2024 at 12:40 pm #1449032This is the problem and why I contacted support. I am unable to access the front page. I have spent hours with the host troubleshooting and have verified that the hosting is working fine and the site is well within its’ storage and capacity/performance limits. In fact the public pages are loading quite quickly.
The other pages are loading and working fine in WP. It is just the front page.
Many thanks,
Paul
June 12, 2024 at 1:12 pm #1449042Hi,
The message I posted above is a server generated message, it’s not coming from the theme or WordPress. Since it’s message from the server, then your hosting provider should be in a better position to answer why that is happening.
Best regards,
RikardJune 12, 2024 at 1:30 pm #1449048Hello,
Yes I understand that. The host said it is getting that server error because of a request from the theme.
I just went into the host error logs and then tried to pull up the front page. Here is an error from trying that. There are also multiple errors referring to cookie consent which I have tried both on and off as well as many AVIA references.

June 12, 2024 at 6:44 pm #1449112Hi,
Thanks for that, but I can’t see any errors in what you posted. If this was a general problem with the theme, then you would get the same error when editing all pages. Please ask your hosting provider why the server is throwing the error in question.
Best regards,
RikardJune 13, 2024 at 7:10 pm #1449636Hello,
The host had no further ideas or solutions as everything there looked to be performing as it should.
However I was able to fix the issue myself. I created a duplicate of the front page that I was able to open inside of WordPress. I then deleted the old front page, renamed the new one (the duplicate), elected it as the Front Page in the Enfold settings and now am able to open and edit as it should.
Thank you for your help and I send this in case anyone encounters a similar issue. I have no idea what the problem was, but was able to fix it and maybe it would help others in similar situations.
Thank you, Paul
