Hi, I have found a number of posts about this, but they all seem to need a child theme and adding code to the functions.php file.
Both of those options seem scary as I am not a developer.
Is there any easy way to open custom defined links from portfolio items in a new tab/window? Or alternatively is there another element that shows just the image and then opens the link in a new window – I do want to include the sort functionality though (to filter by category).Hey Frank,
If you are not using a child theme you could use the WP Code plugin then add a new snippet, in the top right corner use the PHP snippet as the code type:
then add the code that you found in the other threads and save.Best regards,
