Hi,
unfortunately I have not found an answer to my problem in this forum. When I enable cookie consent messages and (as mentioned) use the first option, Google recaptcha still reports an error message with the contact form.
And: Why is it, that I can use the “Enable cookie consent messages” Box with Opera (!) only and not with Firefox or Chrome?
Thank you for help!

Thank you for the inquiry.
Have you tried setting the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling > Default Cookie Behaviour settings to the first or second option? Concerning the issue with Firefox and Chrome, try to remove the local cookies or purge the browser history.
Google recaptcha still reports an error message with the contact form.
What is the error being reported? Would you mind providing a screenshot? You can use platforms like Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox to upload and share the screenshot. Here are the steps to follow:
1.) Visit the website of your chosen platform, such as Savvyify, Imgur or Dropbox.
2.) Locate the option to upload a file or an image.
3.) Select the screenshot file from your computer or device and upload it to the platform.
4.) After the upload is complete, you will be provided with a shareable link or an embed code.
5.) Copy the link or code and include it in your message or response to provide us with the screenshot.Thank you for taking the time to share the screenshot. It will help us better understand the issue you’re facing and provide appropriate assistance.

IsmaelMay 3, 2024 at 3:39 pm #1442197Hi,
I am still struggeling with the fact that as soon as I have enabled the cookie consent bar I get an error message with Google recaptcha. See the enclosed link to a screenshot.
And furthermore I still can enable the cookie message in Opera only and not in Chrome or Firefox. Even with cleared cache …
Thank you for help end best regards!May 4, 2024 at 2:32 pm #1442284Hi,
As I understand your situation, when you have the enable the cookie consent messages (cookie bar) enabled the cantact form Google recaptcha is disabled and shows a message, this is the correct behavior, and then when the user accepts the cookie bar the Google recaptcha message doesn’t go away, to correct this go to the theme settings and when you enable the cookie consent messages (cookie bar), go to the bottom of the panel and enable the Show advanced options and enabled Auto Reload Page on Accept Settings
Now the page should reload when the cookie bar is accepted and the Google recaptcha will show.Best regards,
MikeMay 4, 2024 at 9:09 pm #1442304Thank you Mike,
at the moment it doesn’t even show me the message bar and I still have to configure it in Opera, because Chrome and Firefox are not working with this.
Therefore I can not check your proposal for a solution. :-((
No idea, I will disable the Cookie Consent Messages and see if I find a way.Best regards!
May 4, 2024 at 11:24 pm #1442309Hi,
Perhaps you have a plugin conflicting with the setting because the enable the cookie consent messages (cookie bar) option shows correctly for me in Chrome:
and in Firefox:
Try disabling all of your plugins and then reload the page. If that doesn’t help try creating a second admin account and then login with that account and check.Best regards,

May 5, 2024 at 5:10 pm #1442360Hi,
It works for me, I enabled the cookie bar with Firefox and then disabled it with Chrome. Did you try with this login link?Best regards,
MikeMay 5, 2024 at 6:05 pm #1442366Hi Mike,
I entered via the temporary link and it doesn’t work in Chrome or Firefox. Opera is ok. Still I can’t manage to install a simple cookie message bar for technical cookies. Nevermind I will probably skip the whole thing.Thank you and best regards!
May 5, 2024 at 7:18 pm #1442372May 5, 2024 at 9:41 pm #1442383Hi Mike,
my problem is made up of two points.
1. I cannot configure “Enable cookie consent messages” in Cookie Handling when I try to do so in Chrome or Firefox. Yes, I have disabled adblockers. I can only do it in Opera. Ok, if that is the only way, I can live with that, means I have to.
2. When I enable the cookie consent messages in Opera, they do not work. ??? Nothing happens no matter what I do.
This is all very annoying for me and I don’t know if I should continue or just ignore the cookie thing.
Thanks for your patience and help.May 5, 2024 at 10:22 pm #1442391Hi,
Well I enabled the cookie bar for you in Chrome and the bar shows when I test the site.
But if you can’t see the settings link in the screenshot above then perhaps something on your end is blocking it and perhaps you also won’t see the cookie bar?
It is strange because it works for me.Best regards,
