This may be part on my end. I did a manual check and noticed on 3 of 15+ sites the Envato private token went missing. Although I save them I could not find them so I created new tokens. When I go and check manually it says I have the latest version which I know is not the case. Does it take some time until it finds that I am running an older Enfold version? Any direction would be appreciated so I do not end up with a theme that may cause me problems not having the latest version.

I would prefer not having to FTP the new updated theme as I manage an abundance of sites so I am looking for a fix.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL to one of the site so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I see the same error message on my end, and I think it might be a server restriction which is causing that. Could you try reaching out to your hosting provider for further help please?

    Best regards,

    Hi adriangheorghe80,

In the future, please don’t post in other users thread. You can open a new thread here .

The update to 5.6.6 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Are you overriding header.php and/or footer.php on the sites with footer problems? If so, then please replace those files with the parent theme files and add your customisations back in after that.

I’m not sure about the menu though, that is not something we have seen on our test installations, and it hasn’t been reported by other users either. If you need further help with that, please provide us with more information.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
