    When I go to APPEARANCE > CUSTOMIZE in my WordPress dashboard, I get this error:

    “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    Any ideas?

    UPDATE: I received this error message from my WordPresss installation:

    Howdy!

    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Enfold.

    Hey Stephen,

    Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (5.1.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If you need further help, then please check the login details you posted, as they are not working.

    Thank you for the update.

    You should also set the installation to debug mode and enable the error logs in order to get more info about the error.
