I am getting an alert to update LayerSlider

if not how do I update Layer Slider
all my Enfold themes are up to date yet I still get the message

Thanks for the update. Those warnings seem to be coming from the Visual Form Builder plugin, maybe that plugin is not compatible with your PHP version?

RikardI have removed the Visual Form Builder plugin & that warning has gone
However the Layer Slider update panel is still showing

is there a way to remove the Layer Slider plugin?? – I very rarely use itThe “how to Update” link goes here
but is not much help apart from suggesting “contact the author of your WordPress theme and ask guidance on how to update LayerSlider.”
Hi,
You are still running an old version of the theme, please update to the latest version of the theme. That will update the LayerSlider as well.
If you want to remove LayerSlider, then you can do so under Enfold->Layout Builder->Integrated (Bundled) LayerSlider Plugin.Best regards,

I have de-activated the plugin
it says my version of enfold is
“Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.8.8.1)”Is that not the latest version?
The LayerSlider is compiled within the latest Enfold version.
New LayerSlider versions become compiled with the next Enfold update.
