    Hi
    I can’t download any demo. Getting “Error accessing file for download:
    cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 seconds”.
    I tried the manual method (https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/#how-to-import-a-theme-demo), but it doesn’t work either.
    Here are the server’s options:
    Web server Apache
    PHP version 8.1.0 (Supports 64bit values)
    PHP SAPI fpm-fcgi
    PHP max input variables 16000
    PHP time limit 165
    PHP memory limit 512M
    Max input time -1
    Upload max filesize 128M
    PHP post max size 130M
    cURL version 7.64.0 OpenSSL/1.1.1d

    Just tried to import the Default Demo and it worked. But it did not work for many others.
    The demo I would like to import is Hotel.

    Hi,
    Did you try the manually import a theme demo method, if this doesn’t help Please include FTP access in the Private Content area so we can help install the Hotel demo for you.

    The best I could succeed with manual import was a partial installation.
    I have now reset WP.

    Hi,
    Thanks, I tried but also got an error, I looked at your server settings and your Max input time is -1 this should be 180 and your PHP time limit were typically it is 270
    please ask your webhost to change these settings and try again, if it still doesn’t install I might have another method, but the negative one setting needs to be changed

    There are limited possibilities to customize PHP settings in this hosting, but I was able to change the negative value of Max input time, but not the value of PHP time limit, which is still 165.
    It is still not installed, nor with the manual method.
    Can you please tell me about the other method?

    Hi,
    I tried manually uploading the images and importing the theme via the wordpress xml importer and I got the success message but the pages & posts didn’t install, only the images.
    I’m not sure what the issue is so I have asked the rest of the team to assist.

    Mike, maybe it has to do with the piece of code I had added in the function of the child-theme and the folder I had created in the uploads, to try the manual method?

    Hi,
    I checked your site with another tool and it said that the set_time_limit() function is currently disabled on your server this function to ensure that the migration doesn’t time out, this is different than the current PHP run time limit.
    Please ask your webhost to enable the set_time_limit() function
