Hello,
I’m trying to put a video on the home page in a Color Section. I would like the video to be a background video but it just keeps showing small in the bottom right corner. It isn’t sized right and it doesn’t automatically play.
Here is the page with the issue – https://ctkproductistg.wpengine.com/
Here is a page where it is working properly – https://ctkproductistg.wpengine.com/faith-formation/
Thanks

Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.8.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,

Yes it is updated to the latest version.
Login info in the private section
January 24, 2022 at 4:33 am #1336813Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The password for the username above is incorrect according to the login error. Please check the info carefully or provide another admin account. Did you manually set the Styling > Background Video > Video Aspect Ratio settings of the color section? Please try to set it back to the default aspect ratio value, which is 16:9.
Best regards,

Try the updated login info in the private section.
Yes it has that aspect ratio. I’ve had this happen on another site that I’m working on. It seems that when it’s a color section on the homepage the background video doesn’t work.
January 25, 2022 at 9:23 am #1336999Hi,
Thanks for the update.
We can now access the site but still not sure why the iframe in the color section resizes like that. It looks like the Vimeo player is not working at all but we cannot find any errors. It’s just displaying the small preview image. Did you modify the color section file?
Have you tried using Youtube or a locally hosted video?
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 26, 2022 at 8:41 pm #1337361Hi,
I just made it a locally hosted video and it’s worse.
I don’t have any funky lines of CSS that would be doing this either.
January 27, 2022 at 7:10 am #1337416Hi,
Thank you for following up.
We saved the content of the home page as template and apply it on a temporary page (see private field). We then removed the content of the first color section with the video and it seems to have helped with the issue. The background is now displaying correctly. Did you add any html tags in the content? Please make sure that all html tags are closed properly.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 27, 2022 at 5:02 pm #1337561Hi,
Thanks for doing that!
Super strange, I ended up making that new page the home page so it works now.
Thanks!
