Sehr geehrter Herr Budschedl,
mein Kunde nutzt für seine Website http://www.neoliet.de aktuell Ihr Enfold-Theme der Version 4.2.3. Bei der aktuellen Version werden über den Avia Layout Architekt im Layout Element Farb-Sektion keine Hintergrund YouTube Videos
bzw. bei Angabe der URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqGKbsmCT-g die Fehlermeldung “Dieses Video ist nicht verfügbar” angezeigt.Ich würde meinem Kunden gern zu einem Update, einer neuen Lizenz raten. Würde das Problem hierdurch gelöst? Da ich die Site nicht installiert, aufgebaut habe und keine Erfahrung mit Enfold habe, meine Fragen:
– ist Ihnen die Video-Problematik bekannt?
– ist bei einem Update von Vers. 4.2.3 auf 4.8. mit Problemen bzw. Anpassungen zu rechnen?
– ist es möglich zum Testen eine aktuelle Version von Enfold zu erhalten?
– inwieweit hilft der Support, sollte es Probleme beim Update geben?Für Ihre Mühe vielen Dank im Voraus sowie herzliche Grüße

Hi Sibylle,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Your client is running a very old version of the theme, so updating to the latest version should likely solve the problem.
The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
