I use the WordPress Customize Preview to edit CSS while working on sites.

This recent upload to the site has me perplexed and after searching threads, I can’t find a similar scenario.

This is a fresh install – no plugins other than the basic core.

When I view the site, in standard editing mode, everything looks good. However, when I click the Customize link to see my left nav and Additional CSS – the website hides both columns and images.

When I leave the customization window, they appear again.

I’ve cleared cache. Tried different browsers and explored no plugins.

Still in the same spot – any suggestions appreciated.

In fact, it appears the customer does not work at all on the site.

    Hi David,

I saw some error message when using the customizer, and they disappeared after I deactivated file compression under Enfold->Performance. I get the same results when using the customizer as when I preview the page normally, and the CSS I tried is applying too. Could you check so that it’s working as it should on your end as well please? If it’s not working, then please share a screenshot of the problem with us. Also please consider updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.7.1): https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
