    Hey there,
I really like enfold! for many years i use it and love to work with it. You also where abe to solve all problems i faced until know.
Hope this one will also be solved.
I have an almost similar problem as in this post but no solution so far https://kriesi.at/support/topic/advanced-layout-builder-is-spinning-again/
when i open an existing page and edit just one or two things, hit save changes

      and then

edit some more of the content (f.e. changing a photo or adding some text) enfold is doing automatic saving and showing the grey blinking cloud save next to the not working / greyed out “save changes” button, also on the right sidebar there is a spinning wheel next to the layout options.
this is annoying because it lasts for almost ever. I still can make more changes but I can´t save them. When i try to leave the editing page it asks me if i really want to do so becuase unsaved changes will get lost.
    what can i do?

    Hey there!
Could be that i found the “bug” by comparing two different websites i both built with enfold. Both were (more or less) identical regarding version numbers of WP and enfold.

As I compared them I found out that ther was something different in the theme settings.
at the very bottom of the main theme settings you can choose between block-editor and WP classic editor

I really don´t know why this was set to block-editor but this was causing the strange behavior.
SOLUTION: changing it to WP Classic Editor solved the Problem.

Question to the Kriesi-Team: Did I miss something way back, long time ago, when updating the Theme or WordPress? I don´t regularly read all details when updating and since the editing of the content is mostly done by my client herself I didn´t recognize that there is something going wrong.

    Hi,

Great, I’m glad that you got it working, and thanks for the update. If you need further help, then please include login details for the htaccess prompt which appears before the actual WordPress login page as well.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
