The option for “Alternate Menu for Mobile” under Main Menu in Theme options is no longer injecting the menu selected. It does not inject any menu. No menu is displayed in mobile view; when I inspect the page, no code is being injected. Only way it displays a menu is if I select the option “Do not use an alternate menu for mobile”. Please send help!

    Hey VIEDU,

The sites you linked to are not loading on my end, but if you are running 4.8.5, then please try updating to 4.8.6.1: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If that doesn’t help, then please include admin WordPress login details in private, so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I still can’t load your site though, even if I use the new link you sent. I’m not sure why that is, but I’m guessing that the site is blocked for some IP ranges?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Oh man! I talked with the client and they have unblocked IPs from Sweden… Are you in Sweden? Hopefully that works =)

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, we can access your site now. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.6.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then please try activating your parent theme, to see if that changes anything. Also please try disabling all plugins, if the two previous methods should not yield any positive results.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hey Rikard! That’s good news! So strange enough, the site is in fact updated to 4.8.6.2 but for some reason the backend does not display so. We went through the updating process but it’s still showing as 4.8.5. Have you run into this before?? But with that said, it has not fixed the mobile display issue. We have also activated the parent theme AND gone through the plugin disabling steps. No positive results from that.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’ve never heard of that happening before, but I do see the update showing up if you select to check manually under Enfold->Theme Update. Please try updating the theme from there.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard!

The theme is now updated to 4.8.6.2. The issue is till happening, mobile menu does not show up =/

    #1319509

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. The mobile menu works fine when the parent theme is active, which means that the problem is coming from your child theme. Please try removing helper-main-menu.php from your child theme. If you still need to override that file, then copy the content from the parent theme file into your child, then implement the necessary overrides again after that.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
