I was creating new posts today and after the first post was successfully live the “Page attribute” button went missing for all posts. Now it is not there anymore for old posts as well as any new posts, so I cannot get rid of my Sidebars anymore or change the Parent side. I am basically unable to use my page anymore.
For new or edited pages it is still there so i have no doubt how it went missing as now updating ore any change of versions, plugins or anything was done in between.

After 1.5 hours of searching without a solution I hope you have an idea how to solve that. :(

    Hey Moreeez308,

Thanks for the login details. Do you mean that the Layout tab is missing on your posts? If so then I can’t reproduce the problem on a test installation, but I do see the problem on your site. Does is make a difference if you select to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options? Also please try to update to the latest version (4.8.6) of the theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If none of those things should work, then please try disabling all plugins.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I updated the Enfold Theme (that was published in between our postings): No change
I disabled all plugins: No Change
I disabled the Advanced layout Builder: No Change

The point is: I did one post on Sunday and it worked fine: Then I switched to another post and it was gone…

While typing this I found out what happened! If anybody else has this problem, take a look on the screenshot.
I did move the “layout tab” to the main frame below the content field without noticing. So it is still there but I cannot get it back into the side frame…However this is possible for all the tabs (but irreversible)

    Hi,
I am having the same problem. But no solution. After reordering the attributes, e.g. “excerpt” or “Author” is missing and I can’t get them back.

    Hi jimboo64,

Did you check under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the screen? If you are using the Block Editor, then those fields are in the sidebar.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
sorry, I found the solution in the meantime and wrote it in another thread. But for authors, who want to rearranging attributes for better editing the page, it is a real problem that some attributes get lost by rearranging them. They never come to the idea to get them back under Screen Options.

I have to describe this in a tutorial so that authors can fix that behavior on their own.

    Best regards,
    Agim
