Hi hope you can help, i have a client demo on Monday. I have bought your theme with a view to showing the construction demo. Only to find the demos do not install. I didn’t think I would be reaching out for support within 10 minutes of purchase – hope you can help. Is there a separate backup zip i can install please? or can you help me understand why it will not install.

Hi, from my side it is a shame no one has made contact or acknowledged the ticket as of yet. Since my request for help was made I can see a number of more recent requests for help have been made and engaged with – and this one has not been picked up as yet? hopefully what I am asking is a straight forward one to resolve as it looks to be asked a number of times previously, from your other customers (at its most straight forward can I install the template demo site from a backup zip you can make and send me?). The demo sites were the prime reason for selecting your template.

Sorry for the delay. Do you see any errors when attempting to import the demo? If the auto import is not working, try to manually install the demo using the xml files. For more info on how you can use the xml files, please check the following documentation.

Thanks for getting back to me and the pointers. I have downloaded the xml file and (in the zip there is a txt and xml – what do i do with the txt file?) in the main its looking good thanks. On the home page on the demo you have parallax images eg behind the ‘why choose us’ section – and the contact page has a map on it how and where do I set these please?

Which demo did you import? The section “why choose us” is not available in the construction demo. You can just ignore the text file and use the xml files to import the demo.
In the contact page, the Google Map element is used, which is under the Media Elements panel of the Advance Layout Builder. You will have to create an API key first. Please check the documentation for more info.
