the advanced layout builder is display:none. I cant edit any page with the ALB.

Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.3) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
The Layout Builder is displaying fine on the page in private, so I’m not sure how to reproduce the problem you are having?
