Hello Support Team,
I bought enfold at envato themeforest and I received this PDF with Purchase Code etc.
But in WordPress I’ve to put in a “Envato Key”.
I can’t see that in my downloaded files, and the purchase Code does not work.
What should i do?March 24, 2021 at 4:46 pm #1290169Hi Monika,
Please refer to the instructions in the documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Hope it helps.Best regards,

I already read this part in Documentation and it does not help, because I dont know where I can find that Token.
What I got after buying your Theme:
– Item ID
– Item Purchase CodeBut both does not work in that Theme registration field.
What should I do?
March 30, 2021 at 7:48 am #1291235Hi MMONI,
You’ll need to login in themeforest first.
Then go to https://build.envato.com/create-token/ to generate the token.Best regards,
NikkoApril 6, 2021 at 11:49 am #1292743Thank you.
I bought the Theme for my client and I don’t want him to connect with my Envato Account.
What Box should I select under “Permissions needed” ?April 6, 2021 at 5:39 pm #1292853Hi Monika,
You’re most welcome :)
Here are the permissions needed:- View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
- View your Envato account username
- View your email address
- View your account profile details
- Download your purchased items
- Verify purchases of your item
- List purchases you’ve made
– https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/wp-content/uploads/sites/22/2017/07/Token-Permission.jpg
Hope this helps.Best regards,
NikkoApril 6, 2021 at 6:00 pm #1292871THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
That worked.I just put it into the WordPress of my client.
But:
I bought many Enfolds.. How does the Token maker know which Token belongs to the specific Enfold I bought?
When the Token is not connected to a specific purchasing, then I could make more Tokens than I purchased enfolds..April 8, 2021 at 9:38 am #1293214Hi Monika,
You’re welcome :)
To be honest, I’m also not sure how they restrict tokens (we don’t know how they run their system internally), I tried to look up your question and all I could find is: https://build.envato.com/api/#token
Though I could remember there was once a user of Enfold who had a live site and a staging site that used two different tokens with the same permission and same account but only one Enfold theme is purchased, he got some issues with update until he removed the token for the staging site then live site update was working properly. I think the number of purchases you’ve made for a specific item (like Enfold) determines how many sites can request download/upgrade from that specific item.
For further information, I believe it’s best to ask an Envato/Themeforest supportBest regards,
Nikko -
