Hello there,
If I select edit page within wordpress pages dashboard, I immediately redirect to a “There has been a critical error on this website”. We are running version 3.5.3 of enfold with the latest wordpress. The site is still operational externally but we can’t do anything to update it. Logins have been provided. Not well versed in coding / changes so will likely go over alot smoother if you take a look.
Background:
Before this particular error, any time I went to edit a page it was stuck loading and provided a notification about “blocks”. Can’t remember the exact message. Disabling plugins did not help and turned it into a “critical error”.I appreciate your time on this guys, thank you

Sorry for the problem, and sorry for the late reply. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.8.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.8.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

RikardApologies, I had a false alarm on the update process.
The site and editor seem to be functioning correctly.
