    Hello,
    I have taken over a website with Enfold v. 4.5.3 and would like to update the theme to the latest version. For this I bought Enfold 4.7 and extended support from Envato. But how can I update the old theme? I can’t find any information or buttons as described in the documentation “How to update your enfold theme”.

    Hello Victoria,
    thank’s for support! Now I was able to update the theme (via ftp) and all looks right, but I get an error message in the update section after inserting my token:

    Token erneut validieren oder entfernen
    Als wir das letzte Mal das Token überprüft haben, konnten wir keine Verbindung zu Envato herstellen:
    Auf die Einkäufe konnte nicht zugegriffen werden
    Auf den Benutzernamen konnte nicht zugegriffen werden (wird nur zu Ihrer Information benötigt)
    Auf E-Mail konnte nicht zugegriffen werden (wird nur zu Ihrer Information benötigt)
    Following errors occurred:
    Einkäufe Ihr privater Token ist ungültig.
    username Ihr privater Token ist ungültig.
    email Ihr privater Token ist ungültig.
    Purchases: A problem occurred accessing your purchases. Unable to check for updates.

    Do you have a solution for this?

    Hi Roland,

    Yes, you have some permission issues, please make sure the token has the following permissions enabled:

    • View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
    • View your Envato account username
    • View your email address
    • View your account profile details
    • Download your purchased items
    • Verify purchases of your item
    • List purchases you’ve made

    Hello Nikko,
    I did what you described and as it is described in the link you sent. After that I copied the token and pasted it into the theme update section. But the error still occurs.
    What can I do now?

    Hi Roland,

    Thanks for that. You haven’t added a token to the backend under Enfold->Theme update, all I see is what I pasted in private. That should be a long code, not a user name or anything like that. Please try following this again: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
