Hi Guys,
Did the API instructions change, without being updated in the theme?
I have made two new API keys for a new site, and it normally just goes of without a hitch.
But not this time.January 18, 2021 at 8:55 pm #1273474Hey Johbar,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,

Please see belowJanuary 25, 2021 at 4:45 am #1275174Hi,
Thanks for that. I checked both your keys, and I’m seeing this error message when using the restricted key: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error, please try following the suggestions there. I don’t see any error message with the other key though, but it’s still not working for some reason.
Best regards,

I have tried disableling all of my plugins, which still didn’t help.
How go we get closer to a solution for the unresticted key???I can see on your forums, that Google Site Kit has been giving you some compatibility issues, and just so you know. I have that installed and have added all the other google services though that! HOWEVER, the API connection still did’nt work, after disabeling Google Site key (tried both keys).
Further info: I can see from my google API dashboard, that there is a call, and it gets through, but it gets denied.
https://pasteboard.co/JMapS0p.pngIs this the PROBLEM?
Is the problem that the google account is completely new, and there is no billing option added??It this is the case, please add som info to your google maps api section that this is needed (through no fault of yours), and possibly some info on how to do this.

February 1, 2021 at 11:07 am #1276738Hi,
Thanks for the update. If billing has not been added to the account, then it can be the reason as to why it’s working. It’s now a requirement from Google Maps unfortunately. Please refer to this if you need documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/google-map/#how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key
