hello – I inherited a site that has the Enfold theme v 3.8. I’m happy to purchase this theme/upgrade, that’s not an issue. I tried to update my web hosting PHP to version 7.4 and the theme stopped working. I wasn’t able to edit any widgets or load in-page content. I went through all versions from 7.4 to 7.1 and nothing worked. Wondering if you know of this issue or have any fixes available? Thank you.

The version you are running is old and not compatible with newer PHP versions. Could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.6.3) to see if that helps please? You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
