Mit diesem API-Schlüssel konnte keine Verbindung zu Google Maps hergestellt werden.
A connection to Google Maps could not be established with this API key.
I’ve been tinkering for weeks now. The API procedure at google is now more than complicated. Even so, I still get the above message. The API key is not yet restricted and the domain is also confirmed by double verification. I need help urgently

    Hey Karamba69,

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for that, login details are working now. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.6.3) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Also make sure that you add the API key under Enfold->Google Services and save, otherwise we can’t see which error message you are getting from Google Maps.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
I have updated to version 4.7.6.3 and entered my existing and not yet restricted API key.
As before, I get the message:
“A connection to Google Maps could not be established with this API key.”

I temporarily replaced the map div with an image from the original site and copied the original page.
I send the address with PM

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I see that you have selected to not use Google Maps under Enfold->Google Services. Please activate that and add your API key there. If you should have any further problems then please share the API key you are using with us in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

That was only temporary. The problem is therefore.

    Hi,

Thanks for that, but it’s still the same when I check your site. If you don’t add the API key or share it with us then we can’t see what error messages you are getting from Google Maps.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Key again by PM.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I still see the same message on the backend, but the map seems to be working on the front end at least? I can’t see any error messages from Google Maps either.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
