Thank you in advance for any help! This is happening on lopezmacari.com:
Warning: "continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"? in /nfs/c06/h05/mnt/89981/domains/lopezmacari.com/html/wp-includes/pomo/plural-forms.php on line 210 Warning: session_start(): Cannot start session when headers already sent in /nfs/c06/h05/mnt/89981/domains/lopezmacari.com/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/masonry_entries.php on line 33 Warning: session_start(): Cannot start session when headers already sent in /nfs/c06/h05/mnt/89981/domains/lopezmacari.com/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/portfolio.php on line 27
In addition to this, when I go to wp-admin, I get the following error and am unable to access:
Warning: "continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"? in /nfs/c06/h05/mnt/89981/domains/lopezmacari.com/html/wp-includes/pomo/plural-forms.php on line 210 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /nfs/c06/h05/mnt/89981/domains/lopezmacari.com/html/wp-includes/pomo/plural-forms.php:210) in /nfs/c06/h05/mnt/89981/domains/lopezmacari.com/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1216
August 2, 2020 at 3:19 am #1234531Hey LFE,
Sorry for the problem and thanks for the login details. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.6.1) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
RikardAugust 12, 2020 at 9:31 pm #1237162How do I back up stuff if I don’t have access to WP-ADMIN?
I’m afraid to delete everything and then upload new theme and then all designs, posts, etc. will be gone. Is there a step by step guide?
For example, if I backup everything, how do I know what to put back?
In your response, you mentioned: If you should need help updating to 4.5 then please open your own threads and include WordPress admin login details and FTP details in private.
I have included them below.
Thanks!
August 14, 2020 at 5:45 am #1237666Hi,
Thanks for the details. Since it’s not possible to access the backend of your site then we can try to upload the new version of the theme for you. The FTP login details seems to work, but I’m not getting any files listed unfortunately, please see log in private. The server seems to timeout before any listing can be fetched.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 18, 2020 at 7:05 am #1238724I have updated FTP info in private.
August 20, 2020 at 4:42 am #1239363Hi,
Thanks for that, but I’m still getting the same results unfortunately. Does it work on your end when you try the details you posted?
Best regards,
RikardAugust 20, 2020 at 5:52 pm #1239600I’m able to access without any issues. I’m using CyberDuck on a Mac and get a set of folders, then go to domains, then lopezmacari.com, etc…
August 20, 2020 at 6:44 pm #1239609It looks like you used the wrong login, please make sure to use details shown in private. Also, do not use TLS – details in private as well.
Thank you!
August 22, 2020 at 4:58 am #1239920Hi,
Thanks for that. It worked when I used plain FTP.
I’ve uploaded and activated the new version of the theme for you, but you are still getting the error messages in private when trying to access the WordPress backend. Those error messages are not theme related as far as I can see. I would suggest that your try to disable all plugins by renaming the plugin folder to see if that helps. If not then please try to update WordPress manually as well.
Best regards,
Rikard -
