My clients hosting provider has contacted them to say they are nearing their storage limit and they could get suspended. There appears to be multiple css and js files being generated in the uploads/dynamic_avia folder. The hosting provider sent this link https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/optimization/#troubleshoot and we have carried out the steps but all the css and js files are still there on the server even though I select “Delete old CSS and JS files” and save. The only thing that was not possible from the instructions is to “delete server cache” as they do not store any cache on their shared hosting.
Can I manually delete the js and css files from the uploads/dynamic_avia folder? If so do I have to be careful which I remove?
Please help before the site goes down! I also have other client sites using Enfold.
Hey initiatecreate,
Sorry for the problem. You should be able to delete the old files, just remember to regenerate the files by saving the theme options on the backend. If you need help with this then please include WordPress admin and FTP login details in private.
Best regards,
Rikard
