    Hi Kriesi Team, I am trying to change a text block in my website but I am not allowed to do it. Instead I get this error message:

    It seems you are currently adding some HTML markup or other special characters. Once all HTML tags are closed the preview will be available again. If this message persists please check your input for special characters and try to remove them.

    What can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

    Hey ANASCHMITZ,

    Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please point out where we can see the element which is giving you that message.

    Hi Rikard, thank you very much. In this link from a Blog-Post where you can see the error, but actually it happens in all the “Text Block” items from pages or blog entries.

    When I try to create a new Page also is problematic, because the Avia Template Editor disapeared, instead I get the option to create content just with code… why could that happen? I think maybe this theme is not compatible with the new updates of wordpress?

    Hi Ana,

    Thanks for the login details and sorry for the problem. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.5) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    Hi Rikard, I already did all the actualizations (WordPress 5.5, php 7.4 and also downloaded and installed the new latest version of enfold). Now I have a visualization problem in my website. All the products show a window of facebook that should not be there. It is not in the design area of the theme, that’s why I think is a visualization problem. Why is this happening? Thank you.

    Hi Ana,

    Thanks for the update. I’m not sure where we can see this problem on your site? I checked the front page and a product page but I couldn’t see any problems like you are describing. Please post a screenshot highlighting the problem, and a link directly to a page where we can see it on your actual site.
