    Our Enfold theme will not update beyond 3.2.1. We did not build our page but have taken over management of it. We were instructed by Envato support to purchase our own Enfold license, which we did. We secured an API code and used that in an attempt to manually update our page to no avail. It says no updates are available beyond 3.2.1. We are running WordPress 5.4.2 on our website. Please advise.

    Hey onpointdance,

    Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    I am running THREE Enfold themes, TWO of which are still showing version 4.7.3.
    Each time I try to manually update the theme, nothing happens and WordPress says that the theme is up to date! False!
    Yesterday, I bought a 3rd theme license and that version number is the latest: 4.7.5.
    QUESTION 1: Why is the Enfold theme not being updated in WordPress automatically or manually? This is a major shortcomiong of the theme.
    QUESTION 2: Am I permitted to delete the old theme (4.7.3) after making a backup of my website and then installing the latest theme which I bought yesterday? Can I do this for both the websites which contain the old version?
    QUESTION 3: If not, please can you send me two FREE Enfold licenses so I can install the latest version on my business websites?

    Can you give us temporary admin access on those sites? so we can check the backend.
