    I’ve lost my invoice for ENFOLD and the API, how can I do my update on wordpress ?

    Hey Xavier Menut,

    Thanks for contacting us!
    Envato isn’t using the API key anymore to update the theme.
    As long as you can login to your envato/themeforest account used to purchase Enfold, you should be able to download it again.
    As for updating the theme, envato uses token now, here’s how you can register your theme with a personal token: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Thank you for answering, but I still have the same problem: when i go to my Envato account, I didn’t have a link for ENFOLD, is it possible that I’ve bought ENFOLD by an another way ?
    And in wordpress I could not make an update, “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.7.1)”

    Hi xavier menut,

    Enfold theme is officially sold in themeforest/envato only other than that getting it from other sites is illegal.
    Another possibility is you have a developer (or another person) who used his account to purchase Enfold in which you’ll need to contact that person.
    Otherwise, I suggest purchasing it using your account so you’ll have control over it.

    I’m sure that it was me who buy enfold…
    my last question for you: I think I will buy once again enfold, do you think that if I replace my theme, my website will fonctionnate correctly ?

    Hi Xavier,

    Thanks for the update. Maybe you used a different account when you purchased it? You can try searching in your old email inboxes for example. If you can’t find it then I think your only option is to purchase it again. Once you have updated to the latest version then your site should start working again.

    Please note that the update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
