GuestI just hit the button and purchased “enfold theme”.
1.) Does that mean that I can now choose “enfold church theme” as the theme that I want to install?
2.) Can you install it for me? If so what is the cost and how long would it take?
Thanks,

It’s really simple to install the demos. Refer to the following:

GuestThe currently active Elementor theme named Hello wont let me install the enfold theme, even though I first deactivated it. What is the easiest way to get it out of the way, I do want to refer to the files to use some text, etc to put in my new theme. Shall I just move all the files to a new folder?
June 16, 2020 at 12:11 am #1222870Hi,
I’m not understanding, are you receiving an error while trying to install Enfold?

Guestplease see screen print – https://bit.ly/3dbx2ac
what happens if I do this? I’d rather have the other themes moved to a private folder because I am afraid I will end up with pieces of the old theme mixed with pieces of the new theme. I dont want to lose the files of the new theme because I want to use some of the contens in my new theme.June 16, 2020 at 12:28 am #1222879Hi,
It’s going to be tough to combine portions of the old theme with the new one because they are running different code buildders. Outside of just the content itself it may not be possible.

GuestRight now when I try editing the new theme in screenprint 2, it is displaying stuff from the DEACTIVATED theme named hello.

GuestJune 16, 2020 at 12:46 am #1222883Hi,
Okay yes then that’s fine. Do a full back-up of the Elementor theme first, then you can install only Enfold.

GuestWould it better and easier to just install the new theme to it’s own directory? Thanks Jordan.
June 16, 2020 at 12:57 pm #1222997Hi Larry,
Thanks for contacting us!
It would be clearer because otherwise, as Jordan mentioned, demo content will imported on top of your existing content.
If you decide to import demo on your existing content, you will see Elementor shortcodes on pages you have created with Elementor and will need to copy the content from inside shortcodes. If you set up a new installation, you can install Enfold installation there, import demo and copy&paste the content from old pages and when you are done, you can migrate your site to from your staging server to live server :)
I hope that help! Let us know if you have any other questions!

Please go to Enfold theme options > General Layout and choose “boxed layout” in “Use stretched or boxed layout?”, then go to Enfold theme options > General Styling > Body Background and set “Background Image”. An example can be seen here – https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-blog/
If that is not what you meant, could you please post a screenshot and show the changes you would like to make so we can sure that we are on the same page and provide you an accurate solution? :) You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and share the links here.

GuestI cannot figure out how to change the backgound images such as: On the page: https://www.calvarychapelspringcreek.com/new/about/our-lead-pastor/ Please send me a screenshot of how to get to such images.Thank you Larry Hayden
June 29, 2020 at 6:07 am #1226301Hi Larry,
You can edit that by hovering over the Color Section element, then click the Pen+Paper icon which will appear on the top left. Then go to the Styling->Background Image tab. You can change the background image in there.

GuestHow do I make the themes paragraph font darker. It is too light against the white background
July 5, 2020 at 7:12 am #1228005Hi Larry,
Please try to adjust the Main Content font color option under Enfold->General Styling->Main Content.

I’m not sure I understand exactly what you are looking to achieve, but you could add that text to any type of text element, then remove it when the event is over maybe?

Thanks for the clarification. All you have to do is to activate the Enfold Layout builder in the top menu bar on the page, then save. I have done that for you now, so you should be able to edit the page now using the Layout Builder.

Thanks for the update and clarification. Please go to Appearance->Widgets and create a new widget area there. Then add the Navigation Menu widget to it, and select your main menu in the dropdown. Then add a Widget Area element to the home page from the Layout Builder, and select the Widget Area which you created before. After that then let us know, and we’ll give you some CSS to hide it on screens larger than phone size.
