Hello,
I am suffering from a problem in editing WordPress pages, where the content that is made available to the visitor on the site is readable, however, it is not possible to edit it. The editor goes into eternal upload and is never loaded. I don’t know what else to do, because I’ve done several tests with plugins and so far it hasn’t been solved. Even the editing of posts has a similar problem, where when I can make any changes it does not save.Thank you for your help
June 11, 2020 at 1:18 pm #1221665Hey maria_96,
Thanks for the login details. Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?
Best regards,
RikardJune 11, 2020 at 2:50 pm #1221705Hi Rikard,
I disabled all plugins as requested, however, the problem persists.
June 11, 2020 at 5:49 pm #1221828Hi maria_96,
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your ThemeForest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works.

VictoriaJune 12, 2020 at 2:01 pm #1222071Hi guys,
I did as informed, but it didn’t work. What would be the next step?
June 13, 2020 at 8:50 am #1222332Hi,
Please try to completely delete the theme, then upload a fresh copy from your Themeforest account. Make sure that you have backups of the site in case something should go wrong before you do this.

RikardJune 15, 2020 at 3:37 pm #1222679Hi Rikard,
But that was exactly what I did and it didn’t work. I deleted the theme via FTP, downloaded a new copy and I still have the same problems.
June 16, 2020 at 6:04 am #1222910Hi,
Thanks for the update. I check your front page, and the post in private. I can’t reproduce the problem you are describing on any of theme though, did you try loading the backend in an incognito/private window? If that doesn’t work either then please let us know exactly how to reproduce the problem you are experiencing.

RikardJune 16, 2020 at 7:52 pm #1223179Hi Rikard,
I was months without being able to edit any pages or posts, I bought a new one, did a good cleaning of plugins since last week and today when I entered the edition, it returned to normal. I honestly can’t tell you what happened. But I appreciate your attention!

RikardJune 17, 2020 at 3:10 pm #1223413Hi Rikard,
Yesterday during the tests, I noticed that the entypo-fontello icons are appearing as rectangles, so I went to install as they guide here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/icon/#adding-your-own-fontello-or-flaticon -icons- but I was not successful, I checked the permissions on ftp, and everything was ok too. What could it be?

June 22, 2020 at 9:17 pm #1224724hi guys, do we have any return?
June 25, 2020 at 11:05 am #1225446Hi,
We are not yet sure why the icons are not displaying, but we found an error in the console which might be related to the issue.
This is the error:
Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data onload <a href="https://d335luupugsy2.cloudfront.net/js/chat_button/stable/chat_button.min.js?uniq=0.2695216924159266:1" rel="nofollow">https://d335luupugsy2.cloudfront.net/js/chat_button/stable/chat_button.min.js?uniq=0.2695216924159266:1</a>
Do you have any idea where it’s from, or how it’s loaded?
Best regards,
IsmaelJune 25, 2020 at 4:17 pm #1225570Hi Ismael,
As far as I could verify it has to do with my chat button, which definitely has nothing to do with not loading the icons. I need a solution soon because I am suffering severely from charges from my managers and clients, since the site is not working as it should!
June 26, 2020 at 12:28 pm #1225787Hi,
Sorry for the troubles. The icons are not displaying properly because the entypo-fontello.woff file is not available or is not loading properly.
Did you set the nginx server to allow font files? This location directive should be added in the nginx.conf file inside the server context.
location ~* \.(?:eot|woff|woff2|ttf|svg|otf) { access_log off; log_not_found off; expires 5m; add_header Cache-Control "public"; # allow CORS requests add_header Access-Control-Allow-Origin *; }
Best regards,
IsmaelJuly 30, 2020 at 4:47 pm #1234179Hi Ismael,
I apologize for the delay, I had not received the email with the reply previously. As far as I know, I don’t have this nginx. How can I find it?
August 3, 2020 at 2:03 am #1234697Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, this is typically added to the nginx.conf file inside the server context, this is not always available to end users, please try asking your webhost for help with adding this.Best regards,
MikeAugust 21, 2020 at 9:36 pm #1239866Hello,
I contacted the host, but their response was that the insertion of settings in nginx.conf unfortunately cannot be done because it changes the structure they have already used with other customers. So I got in touch with another professional who made settings on the server + settings from the website’s .htaccess file and the icons reappeared!
Thanks for the support!
