    Search Controll out of Phoenix AZ. charged me to set up a Word Press Site. Its been horrible to work with. I discovered the version of enfold child is ver 1.0.0 did they steel it? How do I upgrade it? The back end is very very slow with woocommerce.

    Hey Ernest,

    It’s up to you which version you want to put into the child theme, you can change it in style.css if you like. I see that the parent theme is 4.7.2, the latest version is 4.7.4. We can’t know if they stole the theme or not unfortunately.

    Thanks Rikard for your reply.
    I’d like to upgrade both parent and child to recent versions. Is there an instruction set for upgrading themes? May I purchase it from Kriesi or have your team do it?

You should receive update notification shortly after and can update the theme with a few clicks.

    Thanks for your answer Yigit. another question. I see a Avian redirect = 1 But i don’t see that theme in my wp backend (dashboard). What is that about and it that the reason the backend is so slow?

    Hey,

    I believe you have set Custom Error 404 Page in Enfold theme options. It’s the reroute that redirects 404 pages to your custom 404 page.

    Have you tried de-activating all active plugins and check if backend loads faster?
