Hi there,
I would like to have a meta box in all posts on my blog using the ALB. A friend helped me a little bit and he solve it in a way that he created an element with a short code inside each post. However, after I updated the theme in place of meta box I got now the error message that reads: enfold [av_post_meta av_uid=\’av-n312ux\’]
First, can you tell me how to fix the above error. And second, can you please let me know the easiest way to add meta box across all posts using ALB. I would like to have the following meta data below the H1 title: date, author, category, and comments.Thanks for your help!

thanks for your help! My friend has fix it for now, but it is a fix until the next theme update. Every time I update the theme, I will need to add a file within wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes folder. This is not very convenient and I started switching all my posts back to classic editor. Anyways, can you please look into something else? On category pages some photos resize differently than others, although all featured photos on my site are either the same width or height and they are all relatively the same size 1,8181:1. Funnily enough, this never happens on blog page and I thought category and blog page should behave the same. I will like if they keep this ration when resized because many of them are illustrated and squared dimensions don’t work.
Thanks!May 19, 2020 at 6:05 pm #1214388Hi,
Thank you for the update.
You can actually add the new shortcode or elements in the child theme and preserve the changes when the theme is updated. Please check this documentation for more info.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#add-elements-to-alb
You have to add the filter in the functions.php file and create a folder inside the child theme directory called “shortcodes”. You can place the custom shortcodes or elements inside that folder.
Best regards,
