Hi – My client is getting the axcelerate integration plugin loaded onto their site to use to book training sessions. The axcelerate support trying to load for them has advised they believe there is a conflict with Enfold. When we change to default theme everything works. They believe that avia.js is overriding the default version of jquery. However I found a thread that says the enfold does not override the standard wordpress jquery version.
They sent me this image – https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Pgii2JuCpW1rHd7Jjn9BRxCoI3qpW41zsRhIWNZyui4/edit?usp=sharingMy preference is not to have to redo the site with a different theme. Can you provide me with any advice on what I can tell them and how it could possibly be fixed. This plugin is integral to the business as they are a training business using axcelerate as their booking system.
With thanksFebruary 10, 2020 at 1:44 pm #1183041Hey kwebdesi,
Enfold doesn’t use a different version of jQuery other than the default WordPress one. As for your problem; could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update
If not then please try to disable all plugins except your essential one to see if the problem still exists after that.

RikardFebruary 10, 2020 at 1:45 pm #1183042Hi,
The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running. You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

RikardFebruary 11, 2020 at 8:01 am #1183356Hi Rikard
Thanks – I have reinstalled theme and child theme manually. Site crashed but eventually got it all back. Always seems to crash when I update Enfold – not sure why.
Anyway – looks to be good – thanks.
