Hi there,
since the latest ENFOLD update the developer settings in the element “full width submenu” under the advanced tab are missing. I cannot add a class or ID anymore. It used to work in previous versions and still works in any other element.
The developer setting for that element is crucial for us and we really need it back.
Is there any temp fix for it?
January 29, 2020 at 10:23 pm #1179620Hey linus303,
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
VictoriaFebruary 3, 2020 at 11:07 am #1180820Thanks for your reply, but it concerns ANY current version of ENFOLD and is not specific to one site.
Just check your latest version, add a submenu via the layout editor and try to access developer settings.

February 4, 2020 at 4:09 am #1181129Hi,
Thanks for the update and sorry for the problem. I can reproduce this problem on my local installation and I’ve notified our developers of it. If they have a temporary fix then they will post the solution here in the thread.

RikardFebruary 5, 2020 at 3:57 am #1181610Hi,
It’s not just the “full width submenu”. Also other elements are missing the id and/or class settings.
Unfortunately I have a deadline tomorrow. Instead of simply designing an element by assigning the correct class, I now have to look in the code for the correct hook. This has happened before with the “text field”.

MaxFebruary 5, 2020 at 1:48 pm #1181761Hi Max,
We haven’t seen this problem with any other elements in the current version. Could you let us know which elements you are having problems with please?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 5, 2020 at 2:02 pm #1181767Many apologies. after emptying the cache memory, a reset of the developer option and a thorough check, everything seems to be fine (except the “full width submenu”).
I guess I was in panic mode. Keep up the good work!

No worries at all :)
We have already reported the issue to our devs and it should be fixed in upcoming version. We will add it here – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-upcoming-fixes/ once it is included :)Cheers!

GünterFebruary 10, 2020 at 6:53 pm #1183181Hi,
I just updated to 4.7.3, but the Developer Settings still do not seem to be available on the Fullwidth Submenu.
Or am I missing something?
Can you help?
Thanks,

RikardMay 13, 2020 at 7:24 pm #1212718Hi This is still an issue and i’m running 4.7.4.
Its just the Fullwidth sub menu.
The dev section isn’t there. I can’t specify an ID or Class.
My developer options are all turned on in layout builder (toggled off).
What else can i check? So frustrating as the id’s for all sub menus on one page that has more than one sub-menu all change rendering all styles redundant.
Thanks
