Hi
I have been getting the error below for some time.
Where does it come from?Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/httpd/vhosts/gewerbe-oberamt.ch/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 28
Best regards
Claudio
January 13, 2020 at 7:57 pm #1172920Could this be related to the used PHP version? I started to get this error just today after updating from php 7.3.x to 7.4.1.

RobertJanuary 14, 2020 at 5:39 am #1173069Hi Robert,
I’m not sure, but it could be. Would you be able to test if the warning goes away if you activate 7.2 or 7.1? Also, did you try to disable all plugins? You could also check if you have debug enabled on your installation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

RikardJanuary 14, 2020 at 1:04 pm #1173284I’m still running PHP 7.4.1, but the theme upgrade to version 4.7.1 from last night fixed the problem. :)

RikardJanuary 16, 2020 at 12:20 pm #1174891Hi Rikard,
please allow me one follow-up question. The error was obviously related to the AVIA framework that’s bundled with Enfold and that is responsible for the advanced layout builder etc. The error however appeared on every single page of wordpress, on the frontend, and in admin, and often even twice. Shouldn’t the AVIA framework only be included, when it is needed in the first place? Why do we need to load several thousand lines of extra-code to display a settings page in admin? Or am I getting something wrong here?

RobertJanuary 16, 2020 at 11:06 pm #1175207Hi,
That is an intrested feedback indeed and it is a good suggestion for our developers to optimize the resources.
We will do give that to them.Best regards,
BasilisMay 13, 2020 at 7:39 am #1212510Hi I am getting the same error however it has meant when I log into the WP admin, everything is text-based and I’m struggling to be able to actually see if I can update the theme etc. I’ve tried reverting the PHP version back to 7.1 and 7.2 and there is no change. Can someone please take a quick look for me and advise where I can fix the problem?
Thanks so much
Kristy
May 14, 2020 at 4:53 am #1212828Hi Kristy,
You are getting 500 internal server errors on your WordPress backend. I’m not sure exactly why that is, but I don’t think it’s theme related. If you want to update to 4.7.4 then please try doing so via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. You are currently running 4.6.1.
Please try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can tell you why the server is throwing 500 errors on the WordPress backend.

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/23/12345/htdocs/my-site/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 28
July 22, 2020 at 4:04 pm #1232279Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Is this the code that you see on line 28 when you edit the avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider/slideshow_layerslider.php?
$this->config['forced_load_objects'] = array( 'layerslider' ); // fallback only to make sure we load in case user overwrites this class and direct checks for shortcode might fail
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 26, 2020 at 5:36 pm #1240980I get the exact same error. And yes, line 28 looks like this:
$class->config[‘forced_load_objects’] = array( ‘layerslider’ ); // fallback only to make sure we load in case user overwrites this class and direct checks for shortcode might fail
´
I can’t get access to wp-admin.What to do?
August 27, 2020 at 8:37 am #1241121Did anyone found a solution to this problem?
August 28, 2020 at 4:10 pm #1241630Hi,
@malenejandersen: The site napartners contains an old version of the theme, v4.5. You have to upgrade it to the latest version, v4.7.6.3. If the issue persists after the update, please feel free to open a new thread and post the details in the private field. We’ll close this thread for now. Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
