Hi.
We have started a new build with Enfold (site number 25!)
Strait out of the box with no plugins installed. The font weight is different in Safari to Chrome. We are using open sans
We have used the advanced styling Theme Options.
H1 – Changed to Font weight Light and Text Transform: lowercase
H2 – Changed to Font weight Light and Text Transform: lowercase
I know this should look different as we have a very big site using Enfold (all data in the private content)
I have included the link to the site and also a link to another Enfold site we have.
Please check them both in Safari and Chrome, the new site in Safari is showing the special heading font as a lot heaver.
The font looks correct in Chrome
Many thanks
December 18, 2019 at 5:09 pm #1167377Hey,
Congrats on the 25th installation! :)
We have fixed the issue already and it will be included in Enfold 4.6.4 which we are going to release after holidays.
However Enfold 4.6.4 Beta version is available and i attached it in private content field below.
You can check out this post for change log – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-upcoming-fixes/#post-1141048Regards,

December 18, 2019 at 8:02 pm #1167467Hi,
Could you please choose to reload the page after accepting cookies in Enfold theme options > Privacy & Cookies tab?
Best regards,
YigitDecember 18, 2019 at 8:06 pm #1167474In Safari? Makes no difference..

December 18, 2019 at 8:13 pm #1167485December 18, 2019 at 8:20 pm #1167489Still nothing…..
If i disable cookie and privacy all together then the font weight changes in chrome to the same size font as Safari!
Turn it back on and its how it should be.. (but only in chrome still and always wrong weight in Safari)
The cookies and privacy also acts differently in Safari than Chrome, ill raise a separate ticket for that..
This is very frustrating as we are due to start a new build today and messed around with this all day…
1: This is a brand new install of the latest version (and even now the beta version)
2: Enfold child theme is installed (but not activated)
3: We are using just the enfold them as of now.
4: Only plugin installed is TINY- mce advance. We have even turned that off.
It behaves different in Safari than chrome – Basic level stuff here guys the font weight for open sans is different..
Can you assist as we would relay like to get own with building the site..

December 19, 2019 at 12:22 am #1167544Hi,
Sorry did not see you edited your post before replying but i just tried to login and credentials did not work.
It works fine on my local installation (beta version as well) after auto reload – https://prnt.sc/qcs68s. If we check your options we might figure out why it is not working as expected on your end.
Best regards,
YigitDecember 19, 2019 at 1:04 pm #1167703Sorry was the wrong password

December 19, 2019 at 2:24 pm #1167744Hi,
I checked your website and fonts in Safari and Chrome was the same. Then i went to enable cookie bar and chose to reload after both options and then checked once again. Fonts are now the same on my end after accepting cookies. Attached a screenshot in private content field below. First screenshot is from Chrome and second is from Safari.
Could you please check and confirm if it is working fine on your end as well? :)
Best regards,
YigitDecember 19, 2019 at 2:35 pm #1167750Hi.
nope still shows as the heavy weight..
Checked on 4 Apple Macs and on an iPhone..
Cleared cache etc, incognito.
Your screen shots are also showing it as a heavy weight, yes they are the same on chrome and safari now but both are the wrong weight..
Please via the links in private content, and when viewing my screen shots from imgur make sure you click on the image to full size as when its small its hard to tell..

December 19, 2019 at 7:19 pm #1167873Hi,
Only 400 and 600 font weights are included for Open Sans for me. I uploaded Open Sans with light font weight in Enfold theme options > Import & Export tab, chose that font family in Enfold theme options > Advanced Styling. Now font weight is light and is the same in both Chrome and Safari.
Have you uploaded Open Sans with light weight on your other site*?
Best regards,
YigitDecember 19, 2019 at 7:26 pm #1167876Great, I just opened the site and saw that it was looking correct..
I wondered what was going on!
As far as I can remember we did not, maybe. we did that site is about 7 years old..
Been using Enfold since its very first version..
I have just changed it over to the child theme as thats obviously what we will be using and its gone back to how it was.
I have imported all the settings from enfold to the child theme in
Theme Theme Options > Import Settings From Your Parent Theme
But when I refresh they font is wrong again, when I switch its back to enfold theme from the child theme it is correct, does the import from parent theme not take over the fonts you uploaded? Could you please do the same for the child theme?
Thanks for the help “Yigit”
