I just realised my website ends with no rating on google pagespeed insights .. the bar moves up so slowly towards and the end and when it hits 100%, instead of returning a score, it shows backend error. Thought it was my site only which i recently moved to Enfold theme just 2 months ago, then I realised couple more sites on Enfold theme with same problem. Even your own homepage (https://kriesi.at) has the same issue – dun believe try it.
Pagespeed score is very critical for SEO esp for mobile page load speed. In fact even when pagespeed returns a score for my site, for mobile it is a dismal low 35 (red color). I was surprised cos the key reason why i switched over to Enfold is bcos of the light-weight and speedy load time i read … anyway to improve this further to at least get a 50 pass mark (amber color). When i loaded a chat (zendesk) on homepage the score goes further down to 21! But that’s beyond the theme i noted.

Your server takes 14seconds to load the first byte of the web page. This is way to much, you need to check with them first.
Then, install and use https://wordpress.org/plugins/psn-pagespeed-ninja/
it will help over your optimization for sure.Best regards,
BasilisDecember 10, 2019 at 6:11 am #1164322Thanks for your response Basilis and the link provided. I will check it out. Anyway I suspect there is also some problem with Google Pagespeed insights. Now my website is back to normal .. showing a score with no error message. But i did a test on your own site https://kriesi.at/ and fyi i think it is still showing a backend error for desktop speed.
December 11, 2019 at 8:17 am #1164732Hi,
Thanks for the update. I tried running out own site through Google PSI but I can’t see any error messages. Results are 78/67: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fkriesi.at%2F&tab=desktop
Best regards,
RikardDecember 11, 2019 at 11:12 am #1164774Yes .. I think apparently the problem is now solved at PSI. My site now shows a score with no more error message. So ends up there is no need to install pagespeed-ninja plugin suggested. But thanks for the suggestion really .. I really wanted to avoid too many external plugins wherever possible.
