Tagged: CONTACT FORM
Hi,
Since the last 4-5 releases I am having continuous problems with the Enfold contact form over multiple sites. The user is able to fill in the form and press send, but the message is never received.
– Contact form 7 works no problem (but generates a lot of spam messages)
– The message is not found in junk mail folder
– I am using latest versions of Enfold and WordPress
– If I check the box for the person that fills in the form to receive a mailed autoreply, the autoreply works.
Please have a look and test.
I’ve been fighting this battle for over a week and I think I may have gotten it right. I am not a code guy in any way, shape or form but scouring through these support threads led me to install the Contact Form 7, Antispam Bee, and Flamingo plugins which appear to do the trick for me.
Every submission through the Enfold Contact Form was getting flagged as spam (even if I used the captcha) which meant my client saw none of them, even the legit emails since he does most emailing on his phone (no spam folder). As I said, I’m no coder so I Googled and found this YouTube video about some basic setup:
Fingers crossed it holds up.
Hi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
@maurosnl: Are you using a domain email address? It’s possible that your mail provider blocks or filters out even the legit messages because it doesn’t recognize the email address or the domain where the message is sent from. Have you tried installing an SMTP plugin? The following troubleshooting steps should help as well.

@Quigley1168: Thank you for the info. Please don’t hesitate to open a new thread if you encounter any issues with the theme.
Best regards,
Ismael
