Suddenly I noticed that my av-magazine tabs (sort filters) are not working anymore. I specified that sub-category tabs needs to be visible. When I click on it in front-end, nothing happens. All the links of the tabs do have the same url link, where /# is behind de root category (example: mydomain.com/root-category/#, mydomain.com/publicaties/# and mydomain.com/jurisprudentie/#).
because I do not know at what time the tabs broke, I cannot trace the cause of this. Can someone help me find the problem?
Today I also installed the newest version of Enfold, still nothing.
Kind regards,

LambertNovember 6, 2019 at 6:31 pm #1154371Hi infoNewMultimedia,
There are no errors anywhere, looks like it can be a plugin conflict.
Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

VictoriaFebruary 18, 2020 at 7:33 pm #1185790Hey Victoria,
Due to circumstances I was unable to respond to your response.
I deactivated all plugins, nothing is changing.Of course when I deactivate “Custom Post Type UI” plugin, the categories which I am talking about are also gone.
The strange thing is that I didn’t change anything with those CPT. and suddenly the magazine isn’t working properly.Please can you look again why the enfold magazine is not working?
Kind regards,

Thank you for the update.
We would like to check the issue further, so we tried to access the site, but the login URL redirects to the home page. Did you mask or change the default login URL? Please provide the link in the private field.
You should also update the theme from v4.6.3.1 to the latest version, v4.7.3.

Thanks Ismael.
Are the given links working? We use Ultimate Membership Pro. Let me know if it still doesn’t work.
About updating the theme. In the Kriesi dashboard it shows “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.6.3.1)”?!

February 27, 2020 at 9:34 am #1188348Hi,
Thank you for following up.

You may have to update the theme manually via FTP if the latest version is not showing in the dashboard. Please check the documentation below for more info.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp
This is rarely the case, but you can also try and clear the transients to force the update to show in the dashboard.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/
We can’t still access the dashboard using the login URL above.

LambertMarch 5, 2020 at 8:24 am #1190314Hi,
You have to manually upgrade the theme via FTP this time because the the latest version is not reflected in the auto updater panel. Please check the documentation below for more info.

Thank you for your patience.

IsmaelMarch 6, 2020 at 3:31 pm #1190900Hi Ismael,
I have updated the theme as you indicated. Version 4.7.3 is now active.
Unfortunately the problem is still present. When I click on the category / tab nothing happens, except that a ‘#’ appears in the address bar after the url link. All categories are still displayed together.
Can you have a look and find out where the problem comes from? Or how to fix this problem?

LambertMarch 9, 2020 at 12:14 pm #1191453Hi,
We’ve just found out that the magazine element has been modified in the child theme, so we disabled the avia_include_shortcode_template in the functions.php file to load the default element for now. It’s working properly now.
Please get a fresh copy of the shortcode file, then redo the modifications. If you can describe the previous modification done in the file, then we might be able to provide additional help.
Thank you for your patience.

IsmaelMarch 10, 2020 at 3:03 am #1191680Hi Ismael,
Thank you so much for your help!
My modifications in magazine.php:
FIXED:
old file arround line 587: show intro text and add ‘a href’ read more link;
…{$markupContent}>{$excerpt}
ID).”‘ class=’more-link’>”.__(‘Read more’,’avia_framework’).”<span class=’more-link-arrow’>→</span>
</div>”;$output…Don’t know how I can get the style changes back:
– outline category links to the left;
– change thumbnail size;
– change magazine title size and style;If I put my old magazine.php back on for a moment, the styles do change. So I guess that there needs to be a class change or something in this file?!
Here two example images:
good styles: https://ibb.co/TmydnYx
https://ibb.co/8BNDDtbNotice that for now, I have 2 magazine files in the ‘shortcode’ folder. The old one, and my new magazine.php.
