Hi, is there a specific update theme link that one uses to update the theme or do I need to download the entire enfold theme and re-install it?
Hey kgbrooklyn,
Did you generate a token for your theme and did you add it to the backend of the theme? If so then you should be able to update from the backend of WordPress. If not then please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
You can also download the theme files from your Themeforest account.

How can I verify if
1)I have generated a token and
2)if I can update from the backend of wordpressCurrently, when logged into my dashboard, I’ve clicked on Enfold and scrolled down to Theme Update. This is the message I am seeing:
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.1.2)

The update to 4.6.x has to be done manually from version 4.4.1 and below, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
