Hi all
I have been using Layerslider successfully for several years, however I’ve just made an updated slider from duplication and just changed a few background images, however now some of the foreground images aren’t showing and the behavior seems to be different across browsers, which hasn’t been an issue with this particular plugin before.
Chrome – seems to have dropped a foreground image. I have re-uploaded, reinserted etc but nothing seems to work.
Internet explorer – glitchy motion, but does display that image missing from chrome.
Edge – doesn’t seem to render any motion at all – just displays the first background image (maybe as a fallback), without any transitions or animations. This could just be a browser setting I guess, but Flash is enabled with automatic playback.September 3, 2019 at 6:56 am #1133231Hey nick_obee,
Thanks for the login details. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.6) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Best regards,

Thanks for response. I didn’t realise that you’d responded as no notification came through to my email strangely.
I will try the update to 4.6. I did actually look to check that I was running the latest version of the theme from both WordPress updates dashboard and also from the Enfold menu using my Themeforest API update key, but neither showed me the 4.6 version.
I will try that now and let you know.

After a lot of messing around with FTP update the update finally finished, but the behaviour is still the same as before:
Chrome – seems to have dropped a foreground image. I have re-uploaded, reinserted etc but nothing seems to work.
Internet explorer – glitchy motion, but does display that image missing from chrome.
Edge – doesn’t seem to render any motion at all – just displays the first background image (maybe as a fallback), without any transitions or animations. This could just be a browser setting I guess, but Flash is enabled with automatic playback.
Are you able to help with this please? We are a school and currently looking to improve the look of our website, as we are about to have open evenings and events to attract new students. At the moment it looks worse than it did last term.

Just a question.
The old Slider works just fine, but the new duplicated one is not working, is this correct?Best regards,
