Hey there, I have been running Enfold Themes on 3 different sites since 2014, but now I suddenly have problems with updating the themes on all sites…when I try to update, i get an error message, that a valid url was not provided…
So it ´s been a long time now, since I updated my themes, and it´s a baaad situation!
Can any one help? Has something changed, that I do not know of?

As you can see I first reported this Issue in october 2018 and still havent resolved it, since its out of my league messing with this stuff, and I have been extremely busy…
But if I provide you with logins etc, can you please help me out with this??? It would be of tremendous help. I´m starting to get worried about my sites, since they havent been updated for a year now!

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from version 4.4.1 and below, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
