Did some cross-browser testing in Browserstack
Issue in:
– Windows 8.1 on Internet Explorer 11 latest/metro
– Windows 7 IE 11Website content does not load or is invisible
(Seems to work in Firefox and Chrome, however)Windows 8.1 has a Market share of 5.78% should we even bother?
Windows 7 has a significant market share still however at 33.59%Our primary customers are rural area so would likely have old operating systems and computers so it should be fixed.
I suspect it has something to do with Enfold animations.
Please let us know if you have any known issues we can fix via CSS, JS or otherwise to ensure the website loads properly.

This can be an issue cause of Browsersack by the way, they are not loading everything as should…

No, Browserstack renders native setups so that’s not the case. Do you understand how it works?
To confirm we tested in another product: https://www.browserling.com and got the same result.Have you looked into this known issue at all? It seems like a strange response on your end to come back with.
Is there a fix for it?
June 21, 2019 at 7:51 pm #1112399Hi,
We are running an update on IE, it will be released soon.
Check if this will solve the issue and we will do take it from there.Best regards,
BasilisJune 21, 2019 at 8:02 pm #1112400OK… so will the latest update address this obvious issue or not?
Specifically vague and not very helpful responses so far on this.
When is this magical update happening?

June 24, 2019 at 10:07 am #1112859Hi,
The issue is probably related to this thread. The JS “includes” function is not supported on IE, so it’s creating an error.
// https://kriesi.at/support/topic/internet-explorer-11-compatability/
You will have to do the changes described in the thread manually for now.

No, I don’t think that’s it. We aren’t currently using the preloader functionality.
I figured it might be related to CSS animation transparency not activating for some reason on this browser? Since the transparency starts at 0 it would explain nothing showing up?
June 26, 2019 at 4:47 am #1113450Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We are get the following errors in the IE console, which seems to be related to recaptcha script. Did you install a plugin for that?
SCRIPT5: Access is denied.
File: anchor, Line: 1, Column: 1

IsmaelJune 26, 2019 at 4:05 pm #1113646Hi Ismael,
Which page is that on? I don’t think that has anything to do with the invisible content on every page for the above described OS and Browsers.
I get the impression you guys haven’t even looked into the issue or a fix for it you’re just fishing for excuses to buy time to not look into the problem. It’s very strange to say the least.
Is anyone going to help on this one or not?

We just told you what might be causing the issue. You can actually see that error for yourself if you inspect the site on IE and look at the console.
Have you tried disabling the script or the plugin for the recaptcha script? Did it change anything? If nothing changed after disabling the recaptcha script, post the login details in the private field so that we can check the site further.

IsmaelJuly 17, 2019 at 3:06 pm #1119597Thanks Ismael.
We determined it was an issue on our end. A modification in JS. Apologies for the trouble – you may close this ticket
