Hi there,
First off let me take my hat off for your team and the Enfold theme it has developed. Amazing theme to work with.
Today I tried using a full-width submenu for the first time and there seem to be some aspects that don’t work as intended (page link in private content).
I’ve placed 2 submenus with different settings so I can show differences between the two.
– The top one is set to be not sticky. The menu works, but as expected it disappears when scrolled.
– The second one is set to be sticky. Now it does stick to the header beautifully as I scroll down, however..As you can see on the page I’ve linked, the sticky menu now has stopped working, the menu items aren’t clickable.
Additionally, as you scroll down, the submenu disappears behind content items. Beautiful for it to scroll down, but if it’s behind the content there isn’t much use for it.The second submenu is an identical copy of the first one with only the sticky setting changed.
There is no custom CSS applied to the website at this point. There was, but I’ve removed it for testing purposes.
Looking forward to your suggestions on this one, thanks in advance.

Brayn Graphic & MarketingJune 8, 2019 at 6:09 pm #1108467Hey brayn_design,
We need to take a closer look, Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve installed the addon and created a temporary account with an expiry of a week, link in private content.
Thanks,
RickJune 11, 2019 at 2:17 pm #1109148Apologies for the double post, but I have an additional question I might as well ask right away.
If we can get the issue with the submenu resolved I would then like to add some padding to its left side so it lines out nicely with the content above and below it. Any chance you can help me out with some css for that?

June 12, 2019 at 5:02 am #1109340Hi,
Thanks for the login token. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.5.7) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Also please make sure to clear the cache from any active plugins.
Best regards,
RikardJune 12, 2019 at 10:21 am #1109430Hi Rickard,
Thanks, that did solve the initial problem.
I had asked a second question about some CSS to align the submenu with the other content, any chance you can still help me there?
Also, since apparently WP dashboard doesn’t show updates to Enfold, is there any other way of receiving a notification when a theme update is released?
Thanks,
RickJune 13, 2019 at 4:03 am #1109646Hi Rick,
In order to get automatic update then you need to register the theme and add a token to the backend, please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
I’m not sure I understand exactly what you are looking to achieve with the submenu, could you try to explain a bit further or post a screenshot highlighting your intentions please?
Best regards,
RikardJune 13, 2019 at 9:21 am #1109799Hi Rickard,
Thanks for the suggestion regarding the registration. I’ll get that set up.
As for my question, I was looking to add padding to the left side of my submenu as it was further left than the banner above it as well as the text below it.
Went through your forums now and found the following which did the trick for me;#top .av-submenu-container .container { padding: 0 40px !important; }
Thanks for your assistance!
Regards,
