I inherited this site from a design company and now responsible for updates and maintenance. There are a few issues that I need help with:
1. I’m missing the screen options drop down when I open any page to edit. Even if I switch to default editor.
2. In website optimization and performance area, I’m unable to enable javascript file merging and compression without losing avia functionality. For example, if I enable… full page slides shows don’t work (blank), buttons don’t appear, etc.Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks for the update and login details. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.5.7) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

As I mentioned…I inherited the site from a design company. I tried to place in the private token for the site, but since I did not purchase it myself…it gives an error messages. Do I need to go back to the old design company and ask for the token, or is there another way to acquire token other than purchasing the theme again? Please advise. Thanks.May 19, 2019 at 6:19 am #1102182Hi,
You could ask the old company to get a token for the theme yes, though you will always have the problem that you won’t be able to access the theme files from Themeforest. I would recommend you to get a new license for that reason, if you can’t get it transfered or get the theme files from the company who bought the license.

May 30, 2019 at 6:48 am #1105355Hi,
Thanks for the update, I see that you are running WPRocket on your site, and the problems you are having could well be a conflict. Does the theme functionality work if you disable the plugin and clear all of its caches? I’m no expert when it comes to that plugin, but I think it should be able to do the same thing as the theme functionality does? In that case you won’t need what is included in the theme.
I see that you are using a custom version of jQuery in your child theme as well, is there any specific reason for that?
Best regards,
