Hi, I have a problem with portfolio categories: when you click a category in the sorting menu it won’t show the correct items.
Portfolio items links and categories are correct and activated, and I checked everything about it, but no solution.
What can be the problem? Thank youApril 20, 2019 at 6:54 am #1092843Hey Massimo,
You are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version of the theme (4.5.6) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,

BasilisApril 26, 2019 at 5:19 pm #1094784Hi,
I’m currently using 5.4.4-14+deb7u2 and I think the basic problem sits there. Also I can’t backup my site (using Backupdaddy) and I suppose the reason is the same. Should I upgrade the php?
Thank you,
MassimoApril 30, 2019 at 5:30 am #1095593Hi Massimo,
Sorry for the late reply. It’s very likely that your problems is due to the PHP version your are running, it’s old and not supported by either WordPress or the theme. Please try to update to 7.1 or higher.
Best regards,

I’ll update the PHP, thank you.
