Hi,
(English below)Seit einigen Tagen bekomme ich Spam-Mails über das Kontaktformular meiner Seite, obwohl ich die Captcha-Funktion eingeschaltet habe.
Ich habe gesehen, dass zahlreiche Enfold-User ein ähnliches Problem haben und dass Ismael ein eigenes Plugin empfiehlt ( https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/tree/master/customizations/enfold-recaptcha). Leider scheint dieser Link verfallen zu sein.
Könnt Ihr mir einen Tip geben, wie ich das Problem lösen kann?

Hi,
for some days I get spam mails via the contact form of my site, although I have activated the captcha function.
I’ve seen that many Enfold users have a similar problem and that Ismael recommends an own plugin (https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/tree/master/customizations/enfold-recaptcha). Unfortunately, this link seems to have expired.Can you give me a hint how to solve the problem?

that’s a good hint! I should have had this idea by myself.
So, it is updatet now – Enfold 4.5.5 – and I start to watch, what happens…Thank you so far.

I receive daily a message from my provider as a service regarding the spam mails. In the early morning I received the latest news: Unfortunately, I still get new spam via the contact form.
Meanwhile, my site had 24,660 blocked bad login attempts.It seems that the problem is not solved yet.

Thanks for the update, did you select to use Google ReCAPTCHA under Enfold->Google Services as well? As for the login attempts that is something which is not theme related.

To be honest, I have not dealt with this topic yet.
But now I have a Google reCaptcha set, let’s see if the attacks decrease.

Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
