January 23, 2019 at 5:04 am #1057560Hi,
I don’t believe your theme will update automatically because Theme Forest doesn’t use the API for updating anymore, they now use a Token system. Your other option is to update with FTP.
Please note that if you update via FTP, Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors.
To update the theme via FTP, look for the “enfold” folder at /wp-content/themes/enfold/ and rename to “enfold-old” then upload the new version as the folder “enfold”
Once you have cleared your browser cache and tested that your site is working correctly, you can delete the old folder “enfold-old”.
If for some reason you want to go back to the old version, simply remove the new folder and change the name of “enfold-old” back to “enfold”
Updating via FTP will not cause you to lose any settings, but you could always export your theme settings file to be safe.
I recommend using your webhost’s backup tool to backup your site, it is always good practice, plus you are making quite a jump from v3.2.1 to v4.5.2Best regards,

January 26, 2019 at 4:33 pm #1059153Hi,
The reason HomeEsp is not loading, is because you have a “Forbidden 403” error, on admin-ajax.php
this could be a file permissions issue, or a firewall blocking access, please try these steps
Let us know what you find. You also have a few other errors from the plugin /Pedego-config/ and /pirate-forms/
Best regards,
MikeJanuary 28, 2019 at 11:36 pm #1059837Hi,
HomeEsp is loading in the frontend but I’m getting this placeholders
[avia_codeblock_placeholder uid=”0″]
[avia_codeblock_placeholder uid=”1″]
[avia_codeblock_placeholder uid=”2″]
[avia_codeblock_placeholder uid=”3″]January 29, 2019 at 5:53 am #1059886Hi,
The other day I remember seeing the code blocks, or “placeholders” above on /HomeEsp/ but I don’t see them today, but the backend editor is still getting the “Forbidden 403” error, on admin-ajax.php
which is a very important file, “Forbidden 403” means that something is blocking it from working, please try disabling your plugins and checking the file permissions with the steps above. You could also ask your webhost to look at the server error log and tell you what is blocking the file, but you should first try disabling your plugins because it could be one of them.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 29, 2019 at 8:15 pm #1060160Hi,
The theme is working perfectly in the front.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins, checked the permission via FTP en al files have the correct numbers and nothing worked.
What else could be?January 30, 2019 at 1:53 am #1060299Also, my product variations images are not changing in the single product page.
January 31, 2019 at 3:47 am #1060686Hi,
For your product variations images I corrected it by going to: Enfold > Shop Options panel, and set the “Product gallery” settings to the woocommerce 3.0 product gallery.
Please clear your browser cache and check.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 1, 2019 at 7:52 pm #1061695Thanks a lot that works perfectly :)
One more thing Avia Layout builder doesn’t load in multiples pages :(
February 2, 2019 at 12:27 am #1061809Hi,
Yes, these are the pages that are getting the “Forbidden 403” error, on admin-ajax.php, such as /HomeEsp/ ?
I know earlier you wrote that you checked the file permissions with the steps in the article.
Please ask you webhost to check the server logs for why you are getting a “Forbidden 403” error, it will help us to be able to assist.Best regards,
MikeFebruary 2, 2019 at 2:21 am #1061818As the WordPress and PHP are now updated to latest version, I would recommend you to check with the theme provider to see if there is any customization needs to be done work the layout editor for the theme.
The layout builder isn’t not working only in the /HomeEsp and /HomeEsp/rentas-y-tours/
and these 2 products totally disappear

February 12, 2019 at 5:23 am #1065772Hi,
Thanks for the update.
The builder is loading properly on my end, but I found some errors in the browser console and it seems to be generated by a plugin called “Pedejo-config”. What is that plugin for?
jquery.dataTables.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'hasClass' of undefined query.dataTables.js:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

March 1, 2019 at 3:24 am #1072823Hi,
Those pages are loading quite quick on our end. Have you tried to test it on another machine or network?
// https://imgur.com/a/4q0w5yQ
I can see the avia layout builder content but not the woocommerce product content
You won’t be able to see the default product content when the advance layout builder is active because it is using a different template. That is how the builder works.

IsmaelMarch 1, 2019 at 6:05 pm #1073304Hi,
I disabled the builder and still the product is not showing and why other products are visible with the builder in active mode?
A question you did not answer Is why the builder keeps loading forever in my backend home page? yes I know that the pages are loading fine in the front end but I can edit them in the backend (page editor)
and you’re telling me that woocommerce is not compatible with your theme?
March 4, 2019 at 5:20 am #1074129Hi,
I disabled the builder and still the product is not showing and why other products are visible with the builder in active mode?
1.) Are you referring to the “pannier-bag/” product? The content of that product is created with the advance layout builder, so it will only display those content. Are you expecting it to display the default product content along with the builder elements? That is not how the builder works, unfortunately. You have to switch to the default editor if you want to display the default product content.
A question you did not answer Is why the builder keeps loading forever in my backend home page?
2.) Sorry about that. We didn’t check that before. There are a few errors in the console, but we’re not sure what’s causing. It is most likely related to the plugins or third party extension. Can we deactivate the plugins while testing the site?
and you’re telling me that woocommerce is not compatible with your theme?
3.) No, that’s not what we meant. We just want to clarify to you how the builder works. Again, when the builder is active, the default product elements such as the product price, product tabs, default product title etc, are not going to be included in the front end or in the template. It will only display the elements that were inserted in the advance layout builder.
Best regards,
Ismael -
