Hi,
Have a problem with the slider on a main page.

When I try to upload an image, I get an error from your backend, what is your CHMOD on the folder?

I’ve just uploaded a new image using the credentials above

Hi,

The site is running on a very old version of the theme, 2.9.2. You have to update the theme manually to version 4.5.2 and make sure that your WordPress installation is version 5.0.2.

Hi Ismael,
Do I need to buy a new license for the theme?
Or can I download a copy of one of the latest themes I’ve purchased?

Hi daropress,

If you have your license key or ThemeForest access, you should be able to download the fresh copy of the theme.

I put my Themeforest User Name and a API Key in
ENFOLD -> TEAME UPDATE

“Update Available!
A new Version (4.5.2) of your Theme is available! You are using Version 2.9.2.
Do you want to update?”

AND TRIED TO UPDATE…
AND I’VE GOT AN ERROR:
“An error occurred while updating enfold: download failed. A valid URL was not provided.”

which url?

I also tried to download and upload a new template via FTP but without success. The site disappeared and there was an error message

Hi,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running unfortunately, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
